Henco Smart Monitoring Valve – The Heart of the System

The Henco Smart Monitoring Valve (HSM valve) is the core of an advanced system that monitors your water network 24/7. This compact, intelligent shut-off valve responds instantly to leaks, anomalies, or microleaks.

Full control, always at your fingertips

With the Henconnect app, you can easily manage your entire water consumption, leak detection, frost and moisture control – all directly from your smartphone. The HSM valve is Wi-Fi connected and instantly sends a notification to the Henconnect app when an issue is detected.

Always on guard, even without internet

In the event of a power or internet outage, your home remains protected: the shut-off valve operates fully autonomously and can also be operated manually if needed.

Advanced Leak Detection

The Henco Smart Monitoring system consists of three active components: shut-off valve, detector, and sensor. The smart shut-off valve – the most compact on the market – uses ultrasonic precision technology to detect even the smallest leaks (0.01 l/hour).

Microleak (Flow >0.01 l/h)

The Henco Smart Monitoring system detects microleaks with exceptional precision. Every night at 4 a.m., the HSM valve temporarily shuts off and performs a pressure test: it checks for a pressure drop of more than 0.5 bar within 45 seconds. If a flow greater than 0.01 liters per hour is measured during that time, a microleak is detected – such as a faucet that continues to drip after being turned off. This way, damage can be prevented before it even starts.

Major Leak (>1,500 l/h)

A major leak is detected when there is a continuous water flow of more than 1,500 liters per hour for at least 90 seconds. In such cases, the system immediately triggers an alarm and automatically closes the valve to prevent further water damage. Expecting temporarily higher water usage – such as when filling a swimming pool or testing installations? You can easily pause leak detection temporarily via the Henconnect app.

Medium Leak (Flow >6 l/h)

In the case of a medium leak – a continuous water flow of at least 6 liters per hour for a minimum of 45 minutes – the HSM valve triggers an alarm and automatically shuts off the water supply. This prevents serious water damage without delay

Smart Detection, Maximum Protection

With one or more detectors, you significantly expand your protection against water leaks.

Place the HSM-DETECTOR in strategic locations where the risk of hidden leaks is highest – such as in the kitchen cabinet under the sink. The detector responds upon direct contact with water and also continuously monitors temperature and humidity.

For hard-to-reach places, such as under dishwashers or washing machines, you can easily connect an HSM-SENSOR to the detector. This ultra-thin sensor reaches even the tightest spaces with ease, increasing the chances of detecting leaks at an early stage.
