Henco multilayer pipes and PVDF press fittings with gas marking may be used for gas. Please note that gas application is only allowed in countries where a Henco gas inspection and certificate is available.
Yes, when Henco multilayer pipes are combined with PVDF or brass press fittings with yellow gas marking. For diesel applications, the sealing material should be HNBR (hydrogenated nitrile rubber). HNBR is a type of rubber that is resistant to high temperatures and petroleum-based oils. This is only the case with gas-marked Henco products.

Yes, and for fittings this applies to both PVDF and brass fittings. For that application, the correct ratio is 45% glycol and 55% water. The minimum temperature is -10°C.
Our internal threads are always straight gas threads. Marked with G. G stands for ISO 228. In addition, our external threaded fittings are always conical threads. Marked with R and ISO 7/1. R stands for tapered. To have a good seal, a conical thread must always be tapered into a straight thread.
Female threaded fittings have straight threads and only taper should be screwed in to have good sealing. Only when there is a seal such as a flat seal or o-ring can it be done with straight thread.
External threaded fittings have tapered threads and only straight ones should be screwed on to have a good seal.
Couplings with flat seal can only be combined with straight thread.
Henco press fittings with a diameter of 14 mm up to 90 mm (and soon 110 mm) must be pressed with the Henco BE-profile. The BE-profile is the same as the TH-profile for diameters up to 26 mm. The TH-profile can therefore also be used to press couplings up to diameter 26 mm. From a diameter of 32 mm onwards, jaws with the BE profile must always be used.
