Henco Launches Popular Pipes in 25m Coils

Shorter Length is Convenient and Cost-effective for Small Businesses

Henco is set to offer its ISO4 pipes in 16 mm and 20 mm diameters, with 6 mm insulation, in 25-meter coils for the first time. This is in addition to the standard lengths of 50 and 100 meters. With this expansion, Henco is responding to the needs of smaller installation companies, allowing them to avoid excess, save costs, and minimize waste.

"These pipes are familiar to every installer; they are among our 'fast movers'," explains Bart Vermeersch, Product Manager at Henco. "But for smaller businesses or self-employed individuals, it's not always convenient to order 50 or 100 meters. You almost always have surplus, and you have to advance a larger amount that you may not immediately recoup. That's why we decided to adjust production and also offer the 25-meter roll."

Less Energy Loss, More Safety and Comfort

With an insulation thickness of 6 mm, the ISO4 pipes provide effective protection against energy loss. Additionally, the insulation helps with noise reduction from flowing water in the pipes and protects against condensation, rust formation, and damage to the pipes. The result is a longer lifespan for installations and lower maintenance costs in the long term. Moreover, the insulated pipes offer protection against extreme temperatures, increasing safety for both installers and end users.

    Installer-Centric Approach

The new compact length of 25 meters is particularly handy for smaller projects. Easier to handle and transport, it increases efficiency at the workplace. Moreover, these rolls are available from stock, allowing professionals to get started quickly without long waiting times. CEO Wim Verhoeven states, "Our mission remains to better serve the installer in a market that is becoming increasingly dynamic and demanding. We will always listen and engage in dialogue with our target audience to find solutions to challenges and achieve success together."

    Significant Investment

Due to increasingly stringent building standards, the demand for pre-insulated pipes that reduce energy losses in both heating and cooling installations is rising. Fire safety also plays a role. This is why Henco invested 10 million euros in a new insulation or foam line. This strategic choice for sustainability and efficiency allows Henco to provide the pipes with insulation foam itself, rather than relying on (foreign) partners.

Wim Verhoeven, CEO: "We bring production from A to Z in-house, where previously each truck trip to our partners required two or three return trips. That's more than 1,000 trucks we take off the road annually, or about 750 tons of CO2. Moreover, we keep the quality even more in our own hands, and delivery times are shortened. This enables us to respond much more flexibly to demand, thanks in part to the creation of a smart buffer stock."

    Sustainable Future Vision

Henco continues to focus on innovative and sustainable solutions that contribute to energy efficiency, comfort, and safety. Since 2008, Henco has been part of the listed industrial group Aalberts. With an extensive distribution network, Henco serves customers in more than 60 countries. Today, over 300 employees ensure the annual production and sale of more than 130 million meters of pipe and more than 11 million fittings.
