The system is always embedded into the ceiling, concealing it from view. Only the threaded connection of the couplers remains visible; sprinkler heads or sprinklers can be screwed on to these. The sprinklers respond to the heat of any fire and will automatically start extinguishing to limit the damage as much as possible.
