What is Henco Smart Monitoring?
Henco Smart Monitoring consists of three intelligent components that work together to ensure a safe and efficient water installation.
A compact ultrasonic shut-off valve that continuously measures water consumption, pressure and temperature. The system detects deviations in consumption patterns that may indicate a leak or unwanted water loss. If necessary, the water supply can be shut off automatically.
A compact detector for areas where water problems most commonly occur, such as kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms and technical rooms.
A discreet sensor for hard-to-reach locations or situations where limited installation space is available.
All components communicate via the user-friendly Henconnect app, giving users continuous insight into their water installation. In addition, the HSM-Valve continues to operate autonomously, even if the internet or power supply is temporarily unavailable.
Smart detection of leaks and frost
An important advantage of Henco Smart Monitoring is the combination of continuous water monitoring and accurate leak detection. The system can detect deviations caused, for example, by a leaking tap, faulty toilet, leaking washing machine or dishwasher, hidden leaks or other forms of unwanted water loss.
Micro leaks are detected from as little as 0.01 litres per hour. The device issues an alarm after a micro leak has persisted for at least 48 to 72 hours and shuts off the water supply after another 24 hours if the leak is still present and has not been confirmed.
Medium-sized leaks (>6 l/h) are automatically detected and reported, allowing action to be taken quickly before more extensive damage occurs.
Large leaks (>1500 l/h) result in an immediate shut-off of the water supply to prevent serious damage.
In addition, the HSM-Detector also provides protection against frost damage. Thanks to continuous temperature monitoring, freezing risks are detected at an early stage. This makes Henco Smart Monitoring particularly interesting for second homes, holiday homes, vacant properties and buildings that are not permanently occupied.
