Henco CU-HC2RF is a wireless control system consisting of a receiver that receives signals from a thermostat and controls a heating or cooling system accordingly via two separate heating/cooling relays. This system is specifically designed for applications where control is managed by a single thermostat, which is often required in smaller residential environments such as studios and apartments. Unlike the Henco Logic product portfolio, the CU-HC2RF is not intended for zone control, but rather for controlling a single heat or cooling source based on one thermostat. The package includes both the thermostat and the receiver, providing a complete control solution in a single package. The CU-HC2RF is not compatible with products from the Henco Logic product portfolio and can therefore only be used as a stand-alone solution.

When should you use the CU-HC2RF control system?

This is the ideal solution when you:

• want to wirelessly connect a single room thermostat to a boiler or heat pump, for example in a studio or apartment;
• have an installation that can both heat and cool;
• want to wirelessly control a heat or cooling source via a volt-free contact or a 230 V contact.

Operation in brief:

The CU-HC2RF receiver provides wireless communication between the thermostat and the heating or cooling installation. When the thermostat detects a demand for heating or cooling, the receiver activates the corresponding relay. The relays can be used as volt-free on/off contacts for controlling a boiler, heat pump or other heat or cooling source. In addition, it is possible to switch a 230 V supply via the contacts, for example for controlling valves in a 4-pipe system. In this way, the connected installation is automatically switched on or off based on the thermostat demand. Switching between heating and cooling mode can only be carried out via the thermostat, either manually or automatically based on the room temperature.
